New Tim blog and new pics!

Hi, I've been vanished these days due to boring work but I'm trying as hard as possible to keep this blog with the latest news related to Tim <3
Tim wrote a very interesting blog:

Hello again. It's been a very busy few weeks. We flew out to LA, where we waited for baggage with Engelbert Humperdinck, experienced My-First-Earthquake, watched the Ting Tings, laughed heartily with Bret Easton Ellis, and sat open-mouthed as we witnessed Jon Brion improvise his way through a seamless Pet Sounds-in-five-minutes medley at his legendary Largo night. We also finished our album, and watched Fried Green Tomatoes with the sound off, twice.

Got back to the UK a couple of weeks ago, recorded two b-sides, went back to Berlin and forgot to sleep for three days, watched Flight Of The Conchords a lot and started rehearsing the songs for playing live.

I also finally got round to listening to a CD I was given at the Haugesund Festival last year. It's by a Norwegian songwriter called Susanne Sundf?>, and I have to say it's truly brilliant. Her songs are utterly gorgeous, and I recommend giving the album a spin if you don't already know her music.

Anyway, we'll soon be out on the road, which is deeply exciting. I'm desperate for people to hear the new songs. My current favourites are You Haven't Told Me Anything and Perfect Symmetry, but I'm pretty fickle and keep changing my mind. It's funny - it's been so thrilling and intense making this record that I almost don't want to let it go. It seems strange to hear our own music on the radio. It reminds me of the first time we heard Everybody's Changing on Jo Whiley's show - incredibly exciting but also a little scary! I hope that as we travel around over the next few months we'll hear other people sing these songs along with us - that, for me, is the biggest thrill of all.

I was surprised to recognise the name Engelbert Humperdinck. My dad forced me to find lots of songs of him a couple of months ago. Awww my Timmeh...it's nice to hear from him. I bet Perfect Symmetry will be my favourite too, it's a astonishing fact we have the same likes.

And as I promised there are the new pics!

The latest edition of The Big Issue - a weekly UK street newspaper published on behalf of and sold by homeless people - features Keane on the cover and a very interesting interview with the band inside. You can buy it from vendors in towns and cities across the UK, now.

Question for Tim!

(Transcription made by Liz)

Tim says: (roughly) I think there are a few different things running through the record. It's definitely not anything close to being a concept album, so in some ways Under the Iron Sea was almost like a concept album in that it had got that almost under the Sea darkness, and so it occupied a particular space throughout the record really and this one is more varied, I suppose. Things are repeated like 21st century obsession with fame and being a star, everyone trying to be a star, wanting to live that 15 minutes of fame thing but then on the other hand, one of the other things is much more about a kind of war, I suppose. So you know, trying to approach that from a very sympathetic human point of view. Those two thnigs for example, don't really overlap. One of them is quite frivolous and the other one is quite fundamental and human and very serious... You know I don't feel there's one story on this record. I think it's kind a multicoloured story. What I hope with this record, is that every song has a sense of hope to it. I feel like everything in the song and not necessarily all fun and positive, still has a kind of human sympathy and positivity to it. I hope that every song is uplifting and then inspiring and positive even if it's trying to talk about something which is not necessarily happy. For me, a lot of my favourite songs are like that. I don't think a record has to leave you feeling? meek and depressed in order to be profound and touching and I definitely think this record is much more uplifting and exciting and has a hugely positive energy to every song. I think the overall record will have that same effect.

Completely agree with this man! There's no need for a song to be happy and flying- butterflies-stuff. I think that what it makes a song good is the way it causes an impact for someone. It's indeed really cool they finally found new things to talk about. Anyway, there won't be any problem cos Tim is a brilliant songwriter and the closest and newest proof we have is 'Spiralling'!!!

Tim passing by in LA

Hello folks!

Seems KM loves Timmy girls a lot cos today they posted a new Tim update. This time it is a nice gif showing Tim passing by a really cool wall. It's like a pop art wall and indeed very creative. Does it have to do something with the new album? It's a mystery. What it is not a mystery is that Tim looks like a sexy model *love*
Supersize love

Today Keanemusic knocks us for six with the return of their classic photos. And it's really a great honour for Tim to be the first one of the pic's return (that means good quality) So, here we can see our gorgeus and cute Timmy smiling mischievously like saying he's going to make the biggest noise ever possible xD
And take a look at his cool t.shirt which matches perfectly symmetrical with his tetris hoodie....ahh *sighs* I love this man!

oOO!!! oOO!! Spiralling!!

TODAY FINALLY ARRIVED THE DAY!!!
SPIRALLING is now in http://www.keanemusic.com/ !!! downloading it now!!! do not be daft!!

Here are the lyrics!!

Spiralling

Ooo! Ooo!
I'm waiting for my moment to come
I'm waiting for the movie to begin
I'm waiting for a revelation
I'm waiting for someone to count me in
Cos now I only see my dreams, in everything I touch
Feel their cold hands on, everything that I love
Cold like some, magnificant skyline
Out of my reach, but always in my eyeline now

We're tumbling down
We're spiralling
Tied up to the ground
We're spiralling

I fashioned you from jewels and stone
I made you in the image of myself
I gave you everything you wanted
So you would never know anything else
But everytime I reach for you, you slip through my fingers

Into cold sunlight, laughing at the things that
I had planned, the map of my world gets
Smaller as I sit here, pulling at the loose threads now

We're tumbling down
We're spiralling
Tied up to the ground
We're spiralling

When we fall in love

We're just falling
In love with ourselves
We're spiralling

Did you wanna be a winner?
Did you wanna be an icon?
Did you wanna be famous?
Did you wanna be the president?
Did you wanna start a war?
Did you wanna have a family?
Did you wanna be in love?
Did you wanna be in love?

I never saw the light
I never saw the light
I waited up all night
But I never saw the light

When we fall in love
We're just falling
In love with ourselves
We're spiralling

We're tumbling down
We're spiralling
Tied up to the ground
We're spiralling

Keane return in Perfect Symmetry

Provided by naily from the OB!

Keane return in Perfect Symmetry
16:53 Friday August 1, 2008
By Ben Cardew
Keane return on October 13 with their third studio album Perfect Symmetry, preceded by a free download, Spiralling, available via www.keanemusic.com from Monday (August 4).
Spiralling, which will be available to buy from the usual download platforms from August 11, was written and produced by the band and recorded in Berlin's Teldex Studio earlier this year.
The track receives its radio premiere on Monday on Radio One where it is already B listed.
Island general manager Jon Turner says that the response to the album internationally has been incredibly positive. "The general international feel is of excitement and Spiralling is a favourite track of the US company,
"he says.
"We are just keen to get Spiralling out there. We want people to hear it",
Turner adds. "The band and the label are very keen to share something right away."
The first "proper" single from the album, Lovers Are Losing, is slated for an October release.
Both of Keane's previous albums, Hopes And Fears and Under The Iron Sea, topped the charts in the UK, while the latter reached number four in the US charts.

Yesterday there was a rumour that these are probably some lyrics of Spiralling, we will have to wait if it's true...

I'm waiting for the moment to come

I'm waiting for the movie to begin

I'm waiting for a revelation

I'm waiting for someone to count me in .....

I fashioned you from jewels & stone,

I made you in the image, of myself,

I gave you everything you wanted.....

I'll come back with more info! I gotta meet again my boss <3
