Woooo!!! I'm super happy with this new update. When I was in the car I was wondering myself: "Which pic will be today's?" and when came up to my house I received this big surprise. For me, just a pic brightens up my life completely.

What a sexy back!!! ok, ok...as a serious girl I like this pic because it shows how our guys are recording the new album *face of an angel*

Worried about Tim

Hiya,

Today the weather was really cold, too windy, eventhough I was happy cos I received good news: I won't travel this week, yay! That means I have more time to make my gift for Tim :D

I arrived completely tired at home and around 9pm I checked km homepage and was o_O

A new sound!

Hi all!

The weather is really cold. My nails are purple. Can't imagine how it would be the weather in the highlands when I travel ("I don't wanna go I don't wanna stay....")

I'm really sad :( cos when I travel I won't be in the hometown for Tim' s birthday. That means I'll have no computer with Internet. WAAAAA!!! So I decided to record a video for Timmy full of surprises

As for Keane, the update I like at the moment is here. Tom is singing but at the end Tim is playing the keyboards. Lovely sound!! And I bet the voice with the sh*t part is from Tim's.

Some interesting things spotted by Mart from the OB

1. Photographic proof that they do occasionally do recording work in a room with natural light.

2. The Korg Polysix synthesizer that is lying on its side at the front of the image - not formally seen it since the early Helioscentric sessions for UTIS.

3. The flightcase behind the Polysix marked "War Child".

Wow, I'm still impressed by all the amazing musical stuff he has. I want to play the keyboards too!!! ...but there's a big problem, I don't have a leyboard (just the computer one...lol). Anyway, watching him playing is really inspiring. His wife and daughter are soo lucky and I don't *sniff, sniff*

Monday 12th May 2008

Greeting friends (Note from Isa: I suppose he sends a special hug for me...lol). We're back from another fantastic two weeks in Berlin. Such a joyous, inspiring place to work.

It felt to me like we took all the songs we worked on out there -5 or 6 of them, I think - up another notch. There was a really fun, creative energy in the studio this time -lots of massed BVs, classroom-style (-quality?) percussion wig-outs, and synth parts that asked the question, "Is this tasteless nonsense or utter genius?"

Fran came down and played us the new Travis album, which sounds brilliant, and then joined us for a long night in the bar, where we ate banana splits, drank terrible beer, and argued about In Rainbows.

Our new policy for this session was to have old films projected onto the big screen in the control room, to inspire us as we worked. I brought in my collection of Marlene Dietrich classics and made everyone watch Blonde Venus on a loop for two days. By the end of that we'd decided that sparkling lapels and foot-long cigarette holders had to be the look for the next tour. It all worked wonderfully until we hit a wall of exhaustion on Saturday afternoon and found ourselves helplessly mesmerised by Ingrid Bergman in The Inn Of The Sixth Happiness.

Work continues today. Are we entering the final stretch or just getting started? My head is spinning and I have no idea.

My crazyness for Tim

Another day of dealing with Linux. The laptops XO are quite bad but I enjoyed playing with the web cam while the teacher was in her computer. All my friends says I'm ill with Timness but what makes me happy was that one of them took a photo with my Tim pic...so lovely coming from a person who is not a big fan of Keane.

Tim eyes and mine....of course Tim's eyes are gorgeus, mine are rubbish.

lol...in this pic I'm wearing my hoodie. I'm with my Tim folder.

And this is my beloved cell phone. I know it's very old (still with blue screen) but IT'S TIM!!!

And finally, me and the laptop. It's green! fab color of Tim!

My mum says in this one I look like a witch in Halloween because of the hair :(

A very good update was what I needed to survive in this week full of studies.

*sighs* Look at the lovely Tim face full of concentration and his beautiful hoodie. Ahh, he's chatting with me right now...lol (I wish *sniff*) Love the colour effects and Tim of course. I know I'm repeating this but I need to do it cos it's true....he's such a truly genius!!!!!!!!

I still continue worried about the wires...

As for my life, this week has started very tiring. Studying Linux could be very easy but sometimes makes me feel desperated. Anyway, I'm trying as hard as possible.

Next week, I'll probably be traveling to Ica or Lima's little and poor towns. I'll miss this computer a lot, specially Internet connection because that means Keane!!!!!! I can't live without the OB.
